Ever since my formative years all the way through my years as a college athlete …I have always been passionate about fitness, athletics, and anything related to how the human body works. Following my college graduation with an Exercise Science degree, I found my true calling as a personal trainer. Whether it was receiving a text saying “My favorite jeans fit again, OMG!”, a friend calling me saying he hasn’t lifted that much since Junior year of college football, or receiving a big hug from a client who finally got off their blood pressure medication and could run around with their kids again. I was hooked to the feeling of knowing I made a difference in someone else’s life. I take that sense of responsibility/purpose and truly dedicate myself to helping my clients achieve their goals. So whether you are trying to lose weight, get back that athletic physique you had during your prime, or simply are just looking for a more structured workout/nutrition plan to take the guesswork out of the process, we are here to help. I have used the same scientific nutrition principles and training concepts to successfully help 100’s of clients of all shapes and sizes over the years. So if you are tired of yo-yo dieting, guessing which workouts/nutrition plans are most effective for your goals, or simply are just too busy to sort through all the literature out there on nutrition/fitness yourself, reach out to us and give us a call. Hope to hear from you soon! When I am not in the trenches trying to create “the perfect workout” or “most effective and safest fat loss cleanse”. INJURIES!!! Not the most common response you’d hear from a fitness professional on why they pursued a career in this field, but was definitely the reason I first became interested. In high school, I played football and wrestled, which led to my involvement in strength training. I would put in endless hours of training, which unfortunately often led to a season long injury. This is what motivated me to learn how the human body works and what the proper training protocols are to avoid injury. Going into college I already had my mind set on pursuing a degree in Exercise Science. I wanted to learn proper training techniques and progressions for athletes to help them achieve their greatest athletic potential while decreasing their probability of injury. While studying at Illinois State University, my interest in this field grew even further for helping all individuals live an injury free and healthier lifestyle no matter what fitness level they are at. Once I started working with clients of all fitness levels and age groups, it has been my passion to help them achieve their fitness goals. Whether your goal is to improve your mobility/flexibility, increase strength performance, overcome recurring injuries, lose body fat, build muscle, or just improve overall quality of life, it is my goal to help you get there! When I am not at my second home of E-town Fitness with my awesome clients, I am most likely spending time with my wonderful family or friends, watching my Chicago sports team, or binge watching the Office. Morgan Bojesen
Hi my name is Morgan! I grew up here in Elmhurst and my passion for fitness really sparked while being an athlete growing up. I was a travel softball player for 6 years, was in cheerleading/competitive cheerleading for 10 years, and was a youth cheerleading coach for 4 years during high school. Senior year of high school, I also completed a half-marathon. While attending Indiana University, I knew I wanted to major in something that was going to help others live a healthy lifestyle. I decided to pursue a degree in Fitness and Wellness that focused mainly on Public Health, Kinesiology, and different Training classes. Since graduating, I have used my knowledge and experience here at Etown to specialize in Personal/ Group Training, being an Accountability Coach, and a Nutrition Specialist. Credentials/Certifications – B.A. Fitness and Wellness (Indiana University 2021) – ACE Certified Personal Trainer (2021) – Nutrition Certification (2022)
